Bob Bossin will be performing Davy the Punk on Gabriola, on October 10 7:30 pm at the Phoenix Theatre at the Haven. The evening is a benefit for the Gabriola Museum and is presented by the Museum & Gabriola Players. Davy is a one-man musical about his dad’s life in Canada’s gambling underworld of the 1930s. It had its debut – then it was a one-act play – at the 2012 Gabriola Theatre Festival. Since then it has had some 60 performances across the country, grown a second act and added his mother as a major character. (My mom made my dad look straight!)
