By Robin BailesAuditions for ROBIN HOOD AND HIS MERRY MEN, this November’s panto, will be held immediately after Labour Day.

There are 12 principal roles and 11 chorus roles (many of which may be doubled up). To find out who’s who in the panto see ROBIN HOOD ROLES TO BE CAST.

Auditions for principal roles will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at 7pm at the Rollo Centre. If you are auditioning for a singing role, you may be asked to come back for the following.

The auditions for the chorus roles will be held on Thursday, September 10 at 7pm. Singers are requested to be familiar with the song I’ve Had the Time of My Life. Please note that all chorus roles do involve some (not many) lines.

We don’t just need cast members. We need lots of folks behind the scenes and are particularly keen to hear from any seamstresses who’d like to help with this year’s costumes. If you’re interested in getting involved, please drop us a line at Keep an eye on our website for more details and watch out for the audition ad in the Sounder.

Make this the year you get in on the fun!
