Our 2024/25 season kicks off next month with four performances of Dear Jack, Dear Louise – playwright Ken Ludwig’s love letter to love letters.
It’s 1942 and the world is at war.
In Oregon, at the prompting of his father, army doctor Jack writes a letter to an aspiring actress in New York. Louise is effervescent, Jack is reserved. On paper, they have nothing in common, but it turns out that, by putting pen to paper, they each find the love of their lives.
Dear Jack, Dear Louise will make you laugh and make you cry. And it will leave you very glad you decided to spend a delightful evening making the acquaintance of these two wonderful characters.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by clicking here.
Directed by Jean Wyenberg and featuring Ray Appel and Tammy Mueller.
WARNING: The play includes sounds of bombs, machine guns and sirens.
NB: For the safety of all, audience members will be required to wear masks.
