As we revealed in our autumn newsletter, Shakespeare is widely credited with writing the first knock, knock joke. To celebrate this, we’ve been publishing a sort of “pantovent” calendar of Shakespeare-themed knock, knock jokes on our Facebook page since November 1st.
We’ve also been offering two tickets to the premiere of Will Shakespeare The Panto for the best knock, knock joke. Playwright Robin Bailes graciously agreed to choose the winner.
