As a special thank you to Gabriola Players members, this month we are introducing Shakespeare Sundays, a wonderful way to wile away winter afternoons, watching a Bard-based film at the Rollo Centre.
On Sunday, January 5 we will be screening Richard III at noon. Feel free to bring a packed lunch. This 1995 version, starring Ian McKellen, updated the play’s setting to 1930s fascist Britain. Does this work? Enjoy the film and the discussion afterwards!
Coming attractions: Much Ado About Nothing on Sunday, February 2 at 2pm and Merchant of Venice on Sunday, March 2 at 2pm.
