The show will go on!

Sheesh. You’d think the weather could be relied upon the first weekend in July, wouldn’t you? But, no. Once again Thor, the thunder god, has spoken.

If we were staging The Tempest, it might be entertaining for the cast and audience to be pounded with rain, illuminated by lightning and yelling over thunder (all of which are in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow), but not so much for Love’s Labour’s Lost.

Thus we are moving tonight’s performance and tomorrow’s matinee next door to the Rollo Centre.

Blankets and chairs no longer required of audience members.

The venue may have changed, but, as Will Shakespeare himself once famously said, the play’s the thing.

See you at the Rollo tonight. Or tomorrow.
