Audition reminder and Whalebone wish

Posted by

A reminder that auditions will be held for our May production of Old Love by Norm Foster tomorrow (Sunday, February 17) afternoon from 4pm to 6pm at the Rollo. Also, as our first set of auditions last Sunday was cancelled (along with many other things on Gabriola) due to snow, we are adding another round of auditions on Sunday, February 24 from 4pm to 6pm at the Rollo.

Home away from home

There will be a wonderful addition to the annual Gabriola Players One-Act Play Festival this March. Gabriola Players will be sharing the stage with Galliano Players, who will be performing Norm Foster’s delightful comedy My Narrator.

Six people will be travelling from Galliano on Friday, March 15, staying on Gabriola until Sunday, March 17. Four of these people of these people already have billets on Whalebone Drive. The remaining two (a couple, so only one room) are in need of a home away from home. We are hoping you – or someone you know – might be willing to billet them near their friends somewhere in the Whalebone area. No need to worry about feeding your guests, as we will be providing all their meals. (Although they’d probably love a cup of tea or coffee in the morning.)

As we reported in our Summer 2018 newsletter, Gabriola Players was invited to perform Living in Paradise on Galliano last May. Our visiting guests were treated like royalty and we want to ensure their visitors are, too.
