Gabriola Players is kicking off its 2019/20 season this weekend with Special Delivery at the Cultivate Festival.
One short scene, three directors and six actors, three different interpretations. This one-hour workshop proves – in case there was any doubt – that it’s not just what you say, but how you say it, demonstrating the many meanings the written word can have.
Special Delivery will be performed in the Goat Barn on Sunday, September 1 at 1pm. Entrance is by donation. (Suggested donation $10.)
Immediately before the performance, Gabriola Players will be presenting a cheque to the winner of this year’s Don Whitton Memorial Bursary – a young Gabriolan who is heading off island to study acting. So you can also help us give this individual a big round of applause.
