Itching for the Footlights?

Auditions are rushing upon us for the Gabriola Players One Act Play Festival. We have three Gabriola-penned plays ready to cast, and we’re looking for actors to read.

One Act Play Festival Performance Dates: March 26-29th, 2026

Want to Volunteer? Have Questions? Email: gabriolaplayers@gmail.com

Auditions Will Be Held

Tuesday, February 3rd, 7 -9 pm &  Sunday, February 8th, from 2-4 pm, @ the Rollo Centre.

We will have script samples available for a cold read, so there’s no need to rehearse beforehand.

There are 13 parts to be filled, male and female, young and not-so-young, many lines and few. Check out the brief description of the plays below. You can read for any part, and you may be asked to read for roles you didn’t request.

Directors will be on hand to find the best fit for their casts, and those who audition will be contacted as soon as decisions are made.

Remember, we will be looking for backstage helpers early in the production process, for everything from stage managers to producers to stagehands to Front of House duties.

Hope to see you there!
