On Sunday, Gabriola Players performed Honour Among Thieves by Elliott Hayes at the Vancouver Island One-Act Play Festival in Qualicum.
The play, directed by Donna Deacon and featuring Wendy Phillips as Carol and Tammy Mueller as Dorothy, was performed here last year as part of our own one-act festival.
We are delighted to say Wendy received the award for best female lead performance.
This could not have been an easy decision for the judge, as both Wendy and Tammy delivered mesmerising performances.
Donna Deacon was also awarded an honourable mention certificate in the best play category.
Congratulations to everyone involved in mounting this wonderful play. The recognition it received was well deserved!
